Casa Mona is a boutique hotel, located in one of the most dynamic areas of San Miguel de Allende. In addition to offering personalized attention and service, it integrates architecture with its own identity, creating an intimate and unconventional atmosphere. Two spaces were designed where the boundaries fade and the edges blur, where nature continues to coexist with the built environment. The scale of the project generates grandeur with unexpected and eloquent spaces, which, in turn, create a sense of shelter and seclusion. By perceiving this, we understand that these feelings arise from the current characteristics of the space, acquired over time with the blending of the natural and artificial physical environment. This gives the place a unique identity and provokes a pleasant and unexpected perception in each of its spaces. During our search for the idea, we are confident that by recreating these moments, the project will boast its own characteristics and spontaneity that will contribute to the overall concept.
