Through a restrained design and a symmetrical composition, the house balances privacy and togetherness.

A retreat where shared living and privacy coexist

Casa Ocote is a retreat designed for two friends and their families, where shared living and privacy coexist in balance. The layout encourages connection in the common areas while ensuring intimacy in the private spaces.

Upon entering, a body of water creates a serene atmosphere and acts as a mirror, reflecting the façade and amplifying the beauty and perception of both the architecture and its surroundings.

On the ground floor, the social areas connect seamlessly with a semi-covered terrace that opens to the landscape. This configuration creates a fluid transition between indoors and outdoors and offers a versatile space to enjoy the warm climate and outdoor living.

On the upper level, the private areas remain separate and designated for each family. The design unfolds symmetrically from a central staircase, which serves as the axis of symmetry. Each side accommodates private rooms and terraces with views of the garden and surrounding landscape.
