A parenthesis in the middle of the city, a project that uses materials, colors and light to create a unique atmosphere, in reference to nature.

Reintroducing nature into an urban context

This new space for fashion designer Sandra Weil is driven by nature and how it is expressed in each of her pieces. The project, located on Horacio Street, one of the main streets in Polanco, consists of the interior transformation of a house.

The main intention is to disconnect from the urban context and connect with a natural environment full of contrasts between colours and textures. Therefore, on the exterior, the house remains unchanged to maintain the urban language of the area, while the interior creates sensory experiences through three naturally distinct environments: greenness, roughness, and whiteness. Roughness is the most intimate environment with its dark and coppery tones, contrasting with whiteness, an area bathed in natural light and light tones where wedding garments and formal events are located. On the other hand, greenness uses the colour green as an element of connection with the terrace and also to house summer clothing.
