A Querétaro family residence, ingeniously balancing green space, privacy, and modern aesthetics.

A home open to the outside

Campanario is a family residence located in a residential area in Querétaro. Being situated on a rectangular plot of land, restrictions imposed by the developers played a decisive role in the placement and direction of the project, as it required opening up the space at the rear and front. These restrictions were considered to create a unique green space where the house would be placed from side to side.

The structural design and plans took this into account, and the decision was made to create flow in open spaces on the ground floor, while openings with views were created on the first floor where the bedrooms are located. In order to achieve privacy and control over the entry of light, a second layer of wood completely covers the facade, which contrasts with the concrete structure without any coverings. Achieving a perfect blend in the relationship between the green spaces created and the privacy of a home
